The spring sunshine provided the perfect backdrop on Saturday for one of the highlights of our school calendar: Friendship Day! It was a genuine joy to welcome our incoming Year 6 students and their families to Southborough High School for a morning defined by community and creativity.
The energy was electric as the boys rolled up their sleeves for a variety of taster sessions. From gardening and Spanish to story writing, cooking, music-making, sport and photography, there was something to ignite every interest. While students bonded with their future teachers and classmates, parents enjoyed the chance to relax and socialise in our welcoming dining hall.
The morning concluded with well-earned refreshments, after which the boys proudly led their families back to the classrooms to showcase their handiwork. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the event so special. We can’t wait to see them all again in September!
