Dear Students, Parents and Carers,
With widespread concern about hot weather in schools, I thought I would provide reassurance by revisiting the mitigations that we have in place at Southborough:
1) Air conditioning in 20 classrooms - more than any other local school
2) Uniform adaptations (i) - short trousers permitted
3) Uniform adaptations (ii) - no blazers or ties (this week)
4) Postponed Sports Day
By implementing these measures, we are able to operate a normal school day and "live" one of our key values: Resilience.
